They may have been diagnosed with paediatric cancer, but one could not tell from the sounds of laughter and harmony booming through Hope Gardens as several children played and sang Christmas carols.
The children’s joy resulted from Angels of Love Jamaica’s (AOLJ) hosting of its second annual Christmas treat yesterday.
“Oh my, today was fantastic because I was around a lot of people who were having fun and giving out gifts,” 13-year-old Kayona Chue told The Gleaner. “I don’t even know what my favourite part was because it was all so good. I also enjoyed Santa because he sang and played with us.”

Philip Liu, founder of AOLJ, also expounded on the importance of the day, which was to share the festive spirit with the children eriacta 100mg canada.
AOLJ is a non-profit organisation established in 2009 and dedicated to providing life-saving treatment, health, education, and support services to children with physical, mental or emotional troubles.
“Today has been a very wonderful, exciting and blessed day. We have had a wonderful turnout; the majority of the ‘angels’ we care for are here today; they loved the animals and everybody has been given a gift,” he told The Gleaner.
“One of the highlights has been the clown who has been painting a lot of faces, including mine. Mr and Mrs (Santa) Claus also entertained these children to a great extent,” Liu added.
He also noted that plans were already under way to stage an Easter treat at Hope Gardens as well.
